Wales is a country located in southwest Great Britain. We spent a day and night in Holyhead, Wales before we traveled to Ireland from England. The reason we picked this city was because it was where the ferry port was located. We stayed at the Boathouse Hotel, which I highly would recommend to anyone. The hotel is located right next to the boat docks and the view is just gorgeous. It is a great place to spend the night if you can’t take the ferry until the next day, or miss it. You don’t even have to leave the hotel because they have a restaurant with amazing food. All of the employees were just so friendly, the hotel was really cute, and the beds were very comfortable. The city was really charming with great little pubs for a night out. If you bring your dog you can’t bring him in the restaurant but they do have a great little area with tables and beautiful views of the sea.
